Finding out you're pregnant brings joy — and a hundred questions. Antenatal care is the regular, expert monitoring of you and your baby through all nine months — catching any problem early, and helping you feel calm and ready for birth.

With Dr. Nosheen you see the same specialist every visit, with real time for your questions. Blood pressure, growth and ultrasound checks are done in-clinic, so you often get answers in a single visit. And higher-risk pregnancies — raised blood pressure, gestational diabetes, twins or a previous caesarean — get closer, specialist care to UK standards.

What to expect

  • A thorough first visit — your history, your questions, and a plan built around you.
  • Regular check-ups through every trimester, watching your blood pressure, weight and your baby's growth.
  • In-clinic ultrasound — often your first chance to see your baby.
  • Simple screening for anaemia, gestational diabetes and other common pregnancy conditions.
  • A clear, calm birth-plan conversation as your due date approaches.

When to see Dr. Nosheen

  • You've had a positive pregnancy test and want to start your antenatal care.
  • You have a condition like diabetes, high blood pressure or a thyroid problem, and are pregnant or planning to be.
  • You've had a previous caesarean, miscarriage or pregnancy complication.
  • You notice reduced baby movements, bleeding, a severe headache or sudden swelling — please seek care straight away.

Common questions

As early as you can — ideally as soon as you know you're pregnant. An early first visit confirms the pregnancy, dates it accurately by ultrasound, and begins important screening. Even if you feel completely well, starting early helps catch any issues before they become serious.
